Creativity & Genre

The importance of creativity process when embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices is that it gives more of an opportunity to be  imaginative and go into more detail. It also benefits you by allowing it to expand your mind and  access more of your brain.    In the  T ed  T alk  video   that  we watched last week the man talking said t hat our brains have 4 sections that all control how our brains think and processes things differently.  In the video the man also said that we can only access 87% of our brain. I thought that was  kind of  crazy.   The brain is a hard concept to think about. Like how does our brain think about  itself.  If that makes any sense, but  a part of that leads us to be creative and think of something for ourselves. In my opinion leaving the answer out in the open lets us be more creative with ourselves and it gives you something to think about.    I ...

To Team or Not to Team

Ultimately it was a hard decision deciding whether I wanted to work alone or in a group. I came to the idea that I would  work alone. I feel like this is the best option for me, because I feel like I work best alone where I can control what is happening and I don’t have to rely on others to get something done.  It was a hard decision, but I feel like this is what will help me succeed the most and it will help me take responsibility for myself where I can hold m yself accountable to get it don e.    After doing the “social media peer account” I saw that people express themselves in many different ways and that sometimes it is hard to work with people that  you don’t have a lot in common with. For example, someone I was considering working with was Graham Shelton, and when I went on his social media  pages,  I noticed that  he has very different posts then I do. This made me realize that it could be hard to come to an agreement on things....

Decision Day

My initial impressions of InDesign and  PremierPro  after participating in the class tutorials were  very confused. When I first saw these programs, I was nervous because I had never used these things  before,  and I was nervo us that I wouldn’t be able to get it. It wouldn’t work on my home computer  and still won’t until I am able to update it, so I only have had time to work on it in class. In the time I have had in class, I liked working with  PremierPro  a lot more because in 8 th  grade  I used a program like that to work on the school news program so I am a little more adjusted to that than InDesign.  I feel like if I would do a lot better making a short video than a magazine  and I feel a video will help me be more creative and express more than in a magazine.  To me  PremierPro  has more to offer  and it is clearer on what you are doing. For example, in  PremierPro  it has  opt...
