Title Sequence Clip

 The clips that I will be talking about are the Lion King, Jaws, Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction, and Scream. I am gonna talk about what the directors did with the film and why they did it.

First I'm gonna talk about the Lion King. It started with the Disney introduction clip which then cut to music and a sunrise scene with animals on a safari. It then cut to the title scene and credits. The title was red words that were skinny but sharp and they really stood out. 

Next I'm gonna talk about Jaws. Starting with the Universal intro, they added faint wind noise which transitioned to music. The screen cut to an underwater clip swimming through seaweed and it cut to a scene of people on the beach at night and the music changes to upbeat and the credits started playing. The title bubble letters with sharp edges that were bright red making it stand out. 

Scream is the next movie up. It started with loud suspenseful music playing and loud screaming. The sound then added a ringing phone into all of that noise. In the title clip, the words turn from white to red which I think foreshadows the normal times turning bad.  

In the movie Pulp Fiction, the opening scene was a couple in the diner. There were credits playing and once over it cuts into loud upbeat music with the title scene and names if the actors in the film. The letters are big, bold, and bright making them stand out. 

Saturday Night Fever is last which consists of a title that is bold and red emphasizing it. The shots cut from up close to far away, and they filmed at all different angles which added character to the film. They also played upbeat music in the background while Tony walked through the city.
